Lindsay Crowshoe
MiM Principal Investigator & Host Musician Dr. Lindsay Crowshoe (MD) is a Blackfoot primary care physician and researcher, member of the Piikani First Nation, Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Calgary, the NPI for the IPHCPR Network, and the project lead for Music is Medicine.
Dr. Crowshoe plays many instruments, but in the MiM music circles he plays acoustic or electric guitar.
Walter McDonald White Bear
MiM Advisor & Host Musician Walter MacDonald White Bear is a Cree singer-songwriter, educator, and motivational speaker originally from the First Nation of Moose Factory, Ontario. Walter has been performing acoustic and flute music for many years.
At the MiM music circles, Walter plays both his acoustic guitar and flute.
Dr. Adam Murry (PhD) is of Ukrainian, Irish, and Apache decent and an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Calgary. Dr. Murry is the Principal Investigator of the Indigenous Organizations’ and Communities’ Research lab and lead evaluator of the IPHCPR Network.
As a musician in the MiM music circles, Dr. Murry plays the drums or ukulele.

Anika Sehgal
Emily McCardle is a settler of Dutch and Irish decent currently residing in Treaty 7 Territory. Emily works as a coordinator for the IPHCPR Network and MiM project.
In MiM music circles, Emily plays acoustic guitar.

Dr. Rita Henderson (PhD) is an associate professor in the Cumming School of Medicine, a Co-PI for the IPHCPR Network, and a Models of Care scientist in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Calgary.
Dr. Henderson supports MiM research.

Dr. Anika Sehgal (PhD) is a post doctoral fellow in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Calgary supporting research in the IPHCPR Network. Dr. Sehgal is a health systems and evidence specialist.
